Dear friends,
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Global Child Forum 2020, originally due to be held in Stockholm on October 8th.
While we do hope that by October the current uncertainties around the spread and risk of COVID-19 will have abated, we feel that given the current state of uncertainty, it is prudent for us to postpone our Forum until 2021. We hope to share with you a new date for the Forum as soon as possible.
While we won’t be convening physically this year, we will continue to explore new avenues to connect and advance children’s rights in the business sector. Please continue to check our website for information relating to upcoming webinars based on our Forum themes and new tools to help you deliver your work. We value our relationship with you and will continue to engage our global community and deepen these ties in the months ahead.
We’re looking forward to continue to work together – supporting one another and ensuring the well-being of children all over the world.
ABOUT THE GLOBAL CHILD FORUMS
For over ten years, Global Child Forum has been providing a platform for thought-provoking conversation around children’s rights and business. We have hosted Forums globally – in MENA, Southern Africa, Southeast Asia, South America and at the Stockholm Royal Palace – convening over 1,000 leading CEOs and Senior Executives, Directors-General and Parliamentarians, youth ambassadors, and expert organizations from the non-profit sector. We have come together for one reason: business has the power to drive positive change, making the world a better place for children. We hope you will be part of that change and our Forum!
“Business impacts children. And therefore, we must let children impact business”
H.M. King Carl XIV Gustaf at the Global Child Forum 2018
