A new Global Child Forum study reveals that the region’s businesses can do more to protect children. The study, Children’s Rights and the Corporate Sector in South America, reports on how well business integrates and report on children’s rights.
On 4 April 2017, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden will inaugurate the Global Child Forum on South America in São Paulo, Brazil. Organized in collaboration with UNICEF and Childhood Brasil, the one-day event, under the theme “Investing in Every Child”, encourages business leaders to respect and support children’s rights and highlights the important link with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in promoting social and economic advancement within the region.
On 4 April, the Global Child Forum will take place in São Paulo, Brazil under the theme ‘investing in every child’. The Forum will highlight how business, by supporting children’s rights, can drive economic and social advancement in the region. The Forum is organized in collaboration with UNICEF and Childhood Brasil and will bring together over 300 leaders and decision-makers from business, government, civil society and academia.
Global Child Forum, together with over 250 leaders and decision-makers from governments, business, civil society and academia is set to showcase how leading corporations address children’s rights as part of their sustainability agenda on the 5th of May.
First of its kind regional benchmark study lead by Global Child Forum, conducted by Boston Consulting Group, will be presented to define the challenges and opportunities of children’s rights in 9 industry sectors across 6 countries in the region.
